Petal & Piping Studio Policies
1. Drop-Off Policy
Students may be dropped off no earlier than 5 minutes before class begins.
A parent or guardian must walk the student inside the studio to sign them in.
Please ensure your student arrives prepared and on time to avoid disruptions.
2. Timely Pick-Up Policy
Students must be picked up promptly at the end of class.
A 5-minute grace period is allowed.
After the grace period, a late pick-up fee may be charged at the discretion of the instructor.
Only authorized adults may pick up a student.
3. Cancellations by Parents/Students
If a student cannot attend a scheduled class, the session is forfeited.
No make-up classes, credits, or refunds will be provided for missed or cancelled classes on the student’s end.
4. Cancellations by the Instructor
If the instructor must cancel a class, a single make-up session will be scheduled.
The make-up session will fall on a weekday (Monday–Friday).
Attendance at the make-up session is optional but strongly encouraged.
No additional make-up dates will be offered if the student cannot attend.
5. General Liability
The studio is not a gluten-free or peanut-free facility. Cross-contamination is possible.
Please consider allergy risks before enrolling.
Participation in cake decorating involves tools, food items, and materials that may pose potential risks.
By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
The studio is not responsible for accidents, injuries, allergic reactions, or damage to personal property occurring on the premises or during class activities.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform the instructor of any allergies, medical needs, or special considerations prior to participation. Petal & Piping Studio
The studio maintains a safe environment and follows best practices, but participation is at the participant’s own risk.
6. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructor directions at all times.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class without refund.
The studio reserves the right to decline enrollment or discontinue a student's participation if we determine that the program is not an appropriate fit for the student’s needs, safety, or behavior.
7. Communication
Email is the primary method of communication for updates, schedule changes, or reminders.
Please ensure your contact information is accurate and current.
8. Student Dress Code
Non-slip shoes are required for safety in the studio.
Students must wear an apron or protective clothing to keep clothes clean.
Long hair must be tied back before class begins.
Please avoid loose clothing or dangling accessories during decorating activities.
