Frequently Asked Questions
Where are Classes Held?
Classes take place in my fully equipped home kitchen studio right here in Temecula. The space is set up specifically for teaching kids and teens in a safe, hands-on, and welcoming environment.
Do you accept Homeschool Charter funds?
Yes! I am an approved vendor with several homeschool charters and happily accept charter funds for both Little Bakers and older student classes. If you need assistance requesting funds, I’m happy to help guide you through the process.
How does the Registration Fee work?
The registration fee is charged before enrolling in any classes and then assessed yearly in September/ beginning of the school year.
What ages do you teach?
My classes are currently designed for students ages 5–12 respectively. Little Bakers is perfect for younger learners, while Young Decorators offers more technical decorating techniques for older students.
Do you have any high school classes open?
We are currently waitlisting for a high school-aged class. If you have an older student who is interested, please reach out to petalandpipingstudio@gmail.com, and we’ll see what we can do!
What will my child learn?
Students learn a variety of decorating skills, including piping, frosting techniques, fondant work, color mixing, design basics, and proper tool handling. Each class focuses on creativity, confidence, and building real cake-decorating abilities.
Do students need to bring anything?
All tools, materials, and ingredients are provided. Students just need to arrive ready to learn, have fun, and maybe get a little messy!
Is this a drop-off class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to walk their child in, but classes are designed as drop-off sessions so students can work independently and confidently in a focused environment. There is a lounge area just away from the class space with complimentary wi-fi available for parents to use if they would like to stay on the premises through the class. No other children (ie; siblings) are permitted to stay.
